Each piece is ready-to-hang, mounted on acid-free backing and matted with acid-free Crescent mat board for longer life. It is then professionally framed using UV blocking glass, and hand-crafted hard wood frames. Due to the limitation of scanning and imaging technology, the colors in these images might not exactly replicate the colors in the actual hand-painted works. |

Bushtits
I had a flock of Bushtits come through my yard late every afternoon for a few months. They seemed to like preening themselves in this old dead bush, which gave me a wonderfully unobstructed view of them to draw from. Price: $500 |

Rufus Hummingbirds
While walking I found this hummingbird dead alongside the road. I took some cuttings from my fushia plant and began this drawing. I had first intended this to be a single hummingbird picture, but then later thought it would be more interesting drawn from two angles so you could fully see its beauty. Price: SOLD
A limited number (30), Iris Gyclee prints of the "Rufus Hummingbirds" are also available.

Female Anna's Hummingbird #2
I did this drawing to round out a show I was doing; giving more diversity to the work I had. Anna's are in great abundance in California and I never tire of drawing them. Price: $480
A limited number (30), Iris Gyclee prints of the "Female Anna's Hummingbird #2" are also available.
The "Female Anna's Hummingbird #2" is also available in a
blank Greeting Card format.

Male Anna's Hummingbird #2
Simply put, drawing hummingbirds brings me alot of joy, and this picture was no exception. Even with all the bright green leaves you can't help but see the little jewel amongst them. Maybe one day with enough practice I'll do them some justice in my work. Price: $530 |

Male Anna's Hummingbird
Hummingbirds really are "Jewels in the sky." With each angle and change of light you see all new colors. This makes it fun for me to paint them, since I get a new experience every time. Price: SOLD |

Nesting Hummingbird
I am constantly amazed by the size of a hummingbird nest. It is almost unbelievable that something so small can make something even smaller. Price: SOLD |

Cedar Waxwing
In looking at a cedar waxwing I wonder how the beautiful red specks on their wings evolved. Price: $500 |

Female Anna's Hummingbird
I am fascinated by the way hummingbirds are constantly aware of their surroundings, and how they use their size to blend in. Even if you know exactly where one is, you can only see it when it moves. Price: SOLD |

Rufous-sided Towhee
I love the dramatic look of the rufous-sided towhee, with his black head, rust underwings, and white stomach. Price: $315 |

Ruby Throated Hummingbirds
This drawing started out as an execise in form and structure. I chose to use hummingbirds because I have fun drawing them and I wanted to see if I could have more than one in a drawing to create movement. Price: SOLD |
