Each piece is ready-to-hang, mounted on acid-free backing and matted with acid-free Crescent mat board for longer life. It is then professionally framed using UV blocking glass, and hand-crafted hard wood frames. Due to the limitation of scanning and imaging technology, the colors in these images might not exactly replicate the colors in the actual hand-painted works. |

Western Fence Lizard
I found this lizard in my backyard while mowing the lawn. I decided to take the same approach I did with the "Pacific Green Tree Frog". I really enjoyed creating all the different textures. Price: SOLD |

White Throated Sparrow
There is a lot going on in this painting which I enjoyed creating. Mixing different textures of plant life while still keeping the bird as the focal point is always a challenge. My favorite part of this picture is the fine line work on the large piece of wood on which the sparrow is perched. Price: SOLD |

House Finch
I drew the house finch after a mating pair built a nest in a plant just outside my front door. I had the pleasure of watching four little eggs hatch, and the babies grow to fledglings. Price: SOLD |

I was just being playful one day, mixing a little fantasy with reality and this is the result. Price: SOLD |

Purple Finch
I saw the brilliant red while I was taking a walk. It took me quite a while to get a good enough look at him to identify it as a purple finch. Price: SOLD |

Scrub Jay
Most people do not like Jay's, but I think they are very inquisitive and smart. In doing this drawing, I hope I brought people's attention to their charming characteristics. Price: SOLD |

Short-eared Owl
I tried to give the impression that he had been startled in his hiding place in the hollow of a tree. A fun aspect of this drawing, was creating the different textures of the bark. Price: SOLD |

Mushroom Frog
Small animals like tree frogs fascinate me. They live in a tiny world that is so fragile, but is such a crucial part of ours.
This is one of a total of two prints made from one original,
which have been hand painted using a mixture of gouache,
translucent water color, and water color pencil.
